Flexa ("we", "us") is a dating assistant app that gives you AI-powered feedback on your dating profile and conversations. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it in plain English.
Last updated 30 August 2026: added the "Third-party AI services" section naming every provider that receives your uploads. Flexa now asks for your permission in the app before the first image is sent.
Flexa cannot produce its results without sending the images you choose to specialist AI providers. We ask for your permission inside the app before the first image is sent, and you can withdraw that permission at any time under Settings → How Flexa uses AI. These are the only third parties that receive your uploads:
They receive the screenshots and photos you upload, and return the feedback, reply suggestions and Photo Studio images you asked for. Only the images you select are sent — your name, email address and account details are not.
Each of these providers is bound by contractual terms that require them to protect your data to a standard equal to that described in this policy, to process it only in order to return the result we ask for, and not to use it to train their own models.
Conversation screenshots naturally include messages written by the people you're chatting with. Please be thoughtful about what you upload. These images are used solely to generate your coaching feedback, are stored privately in your account, and are never shared or made public.
Data is stored with Supabase (our database and storage provider) in access-controlled, private storage. Images are held in a private bucket that only your account can access. All data is encrypted in transit.
Your uploads and analysis history are kept while your account exists so the app can function. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's settings, or by emailing us — deletion is permanent and removes your uploads, analyses, and account records.
Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Since Flexa accounts are anonymous, the simplest way to exercise these rights is deleting your account in the app. For anything else, contact us at the email below.
Flexa is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the app. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
